We will offer speeder rides in Lemont for the Strawberry Festival June 11 3-7 PM and the Lemont Arts Festival July 16 (10 AM - 6 PM) and 17 (10 AM - 4 PM). We will consider speeder rides at the Christmas Market depending on the state of our RDC operations.

The Faith Centre has requested donations to support their upcoming 5k/10k races. Donors receive publicity on the race shirts. Tracey moved we donate $100 to the Faith Centre, seconded by Ken; the motion carried.
The Bellefonte library has requested a donation to support their programs. Donors receive publicity. Andy R. moved to contribute $50 to the library as an advertising expense, seconded by Andy C.; the motion carried.
The Lemont Village Association has requested we write an article for their newsletter. Dan will ask Keith to write an article and send it to Sue Smith.
Todd Hunter (NSHR) shared an opportunity to acquire a Bellefonte and Buffalo Run Railroad key. This railroad was a predecessor to the Bellefonte Central. Tom moved to authorize Andy R. to spend up to the asking price of $87 acquiring the key, seconded by Steve; the motion carried.
The Election committee called for nominations from the floor for each office. No nominations were heard. The previous years officers were elected to another term in office: President Dan Durachko; Vice President Ken Dishman; Recording Secretary Tom Canich; Treasurer Andy Richards; Corresponding Secretary Keith Koch.
Lock Haven will be sponsoring an excursion to Bellefonte the same weekend as the Bellefonte Cruise. We will be using the equipment for a short excursion during their layover. Online ticket sales are to begin in April. We'll need to print tickets and begin advertising. Online-only versus online and in station sales were discussed.
The Bellefonte Central lock was not purchased due to a miscommunication. The seller is a local collector who is willing to offer tours of his collection to small groups of BHRS members.
No report from the Private Speeder Excursion committee.
The RDC project continues. RMS is working on light covers, paint, and a few other items. We have about $18,000 left in grant funds. Steve reported that NSHR will be holding rules classes at the Shamokin Dam Hoss's restaurant. In addition to the engineer and conductor rules classes there is a roadway worker class which we don't need to attend. Steve will check with NSHR to see if any classes will be available in the Bellefonte area. Steve noted we need a new first aid kit before beginning RDC operations.
No updates on the caboose or snow plow.
The Webmaster reported that ticket sale dates have been posted on the website.
The Treasurer presented the budget report. Reimbursements were made for membership processing expenses, we paid bills for Santa excursions, insurance, and other small expenses. The closing balance was $44,300.13. Tom moved to accept the report, seconded by Steve; the motion carried.
