The Webmaster reports that our domain name registrations were renewed.

No report on the caboose or snow plow.

Old Business

On May 28 a work party in Lemont cleared brush and weeds and replaced a tie in the cut.  During the work party police were called to the private crossing at Limerock Terrace due to an incident with the residents at that property.  BHRS will consult with legal counsel regarding trespassing concerns, property lines, and our options to address these concerns. The track will be inspected at 1 PM prior to the Strawberry Festival rides.  At 3 PM on June 7 a 1% glyphosate solution will be applied for weed control.

Cody Martin had preliminary discussions regarding signal acquisitions.  Signals are between 18 1/2 feet and 22 feet tall.  Placement, permitting, and other factors were discussed.  Andy Cobaugh moved to grant Cody full power to decide on equipment we will receive, seconded by Tom Canich; the motion carried.

Tom Canich reported on the request for a private speeder excursion.  The price schedule worked out in May was acceptable but due to our delay the customer had already selected other entertainment.

A small crew will be needed for the Rail Cruise excursion.  A final advertising note will be sent to previous ticket purchasers to make them aware of the excursion.  Cody will clean up the narrations.

Crew requirements for the Strawberry festival were discussed with a consensus that 8 people are needed.  Rail Cruise tickets will be available for purchase.
