The meeting was called to order at 7 PM by President Durachko.  Present were members Cody Martin, Dan Durachko, Andy Cobaugh, Johnathan White, Hunter Robertson, Ken Dishman, Andy Richards, Tom Milton, Steve Dillon, and Tom Canich.

January meeting minutes were presented.  Cody Martin moved to accept the minutes, seconded by Andy Cobaugh; the motion carried.

The Treasurer reported an opening balance of $95,465.61.  We paid a number of refunds and reimbursements for fall foliage tickets and operating expenses.  We remitted to JRA approximately $40,000 revenue for the Santa Express excursions.  We will receive 40% of the remittance.  The McCarthy rail insurance policy was renewed with doubled coverage for RDC #9167.  We made payments to Rail Mechanical Services for work on RDC #9167 of $7,500.  Our closing balance is $45,189.35 in the general fund, $45,581.32 total.  Ken Dishman moved to accept the report, seconded by Tom Milton; the motion carried.

The nominating committee put forth a slate of candidates for the 2017 officer positions.  All existing officers were renominated.  Additional nominations will be heard from the floor at the March 6, 2017 general meeting.

The Webmaster reports 378 sessions on our web site in January.

We have not received a progress report from RMS.  Andy Cobaugh will follow up with Greg George.  No update from the DSLE.

We discussed the 2017 excursion schedule.  We will again operate in October and December.  A June excursion will not happen due to too much uncertainty to produce a set schedule.  We will approach NBER and JRA about again offering speeder rides in Talleyrand park during the Bellefonte Cruise.

The Strawberry festival will be the weekend of June 10 or June 17.

Lemont Festival is the weekend of July 14.  We will consider operating one day only or two days with each day dedicated to speeders and pump cars, respectively.  Pump cars depend on availability of equipment and operators.

The large track car wheels need to be cleaned and painted.  Volunteers are requested who can take one or more wheels to refurbish.  Wood work is also needed to rebuild the benches and other wood components.  Contact Andy Cobaugh if you can help.

We will contact Barry Wunz about the track car in storage and his help during events.

We discussed an MT-19 track car for sale in Milesburg.  This car would be useful in the short term for events while the large track car is refurbished.  The car has a cab and does not have a turntable.  The asking price is $3,000.  Johnathan White moved to authorize Dan Durachko to spend up to $3,000, depending on general mechanical condition, to acquire the car, seconded by Ken Dishman; the motion carried.

Andy Richards moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Steve Dillon; the motion carried.

Meeting adjourned 7:55 PM.
