BHRS Minutes Monday, February 5, 2018 prepared by Dan Durachko

Meeting called to order at roughly 7PM.
Review of previous minutes waived.
Treasurer's Report approved (see attachment).
Tracey B. re-assumed duties as membership chair.  She has written the 2018 membership drive letter.  Durachko proofread and approved.  Sought approval
Webmaster reported 309 sessions for last month.
RDC A/C system still leaking @ 150psi nitrogen charge.  Andy C. will contact RMS weekly until they have fixed this apparently final issue preventing return of the rail car to Bellefonte.  At least one inspection will be arranged prior to return of the rail car.  We may suggest the latter half of March 2018 for this inspection to maintain some pressure on RMS.  Whether they'll attempt to invoice us for labor chasing down this leak remains to be seen.
At least Andy C., Andy R., and Dan D. plan to meet and assess the electrical rework requirements for the Kevin Hall speeder (a.k.a. "The Pumpkin") and then purchase and redo the electrical components as we see fit.  Dan D. has a previously purchased master shutoff switch to install.  We hope to utilize this speeder for events in 2018 since Cody M. is now gainfully employed.
Tracey B. suggested we initiate an annual picnic or some such gathering (WHERE NO WORK IS PERFORMED!) for members and volunteers.  This was met with generally high approval.
Johnathan W. presented a bound tentative final draft of the BHRS Rules Book and gave one copy to Dan D. and retained one copy for Steve D.  Andy C. suggested reformatting it from 8.5 x 11 inches to the binder format typically carried by railroad personnel.  An electronic copy is available for circulation for anyone wanting it.
Little progress has been made attempting to garner workspace in the former Titan Metal complex.  Dan D. will contact people he knows at G. M. McCrossin Construction to see if he can make any headway.
Meeting adjourned at roughly 8:15PM.
