We’re happy to announce that tickets for the Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society’s Halloween and Fall Foliage rides are on sale once again! Please note that this year’s excursions will be held the weekend of October 21-23.
On Friday, October 21th, we will be hosting our annual Halloween trips departing at 6 PM and 8 PM. These family-friendly rides will last about an hour, and kids of every age are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing their costumes on board! As you rumble down the line be prepared for a cast of Halloween visitors bearing tricks and treats to visit your car. Tickets are $10 per person for each Friday ride. Join us for some Halloween fun!
Saturday the 22nd brings our first of two Fall Foliage excursions. Enjoy the beautiful fall sunshine and some spectacular leaf peeping. At 10 AM, the train will head into Pleasant Gap for a 2-hour excursion. At 1 PM, we will be heading south through the Bald Eagle Valley all the way into Tyrone. Once we arrive in Tyrone enjoy snacks for sale and a bit of fresh air at the station. Or, stroll downtown for an ice cream, stretch your legs and explore the borough. Tickets are $15 for the Pleasant Gap run and $30 for the Tyrone trip.
On Sunday we have two separate trips to Sayers Dam new Howard, PA, departing at 1 PM and 4 PM. Tickets are $20 for both trips. Unfortunately, due to usage of the Lemont, PA branch line for tank car storage, we are unable to travel to Lemont this year.
See you on the train!
